At NAB Show 2025, Radioplayer presented a new demo of hybrid radio and a clear vision on the future of radio in the car. And the message we received from broadcasters – both in conversations and concrete commitments – was just as clear.
In the car dashboard battleground, broadcasters are demanding what they’ve always had: control, visibility, and a direct connection to the listener. That’s exactly what Radioplayer is delivering - already in partnership with 15 major car brands and in more than 4 million connected cars globally.
With over 55,000 attendees in Las Vegas this year, Radioplayer made its presence count. Our booth attracted steady attention, with broadcasters from across the U.S. and beyond stopping by for hands-on demos of our latest Hybrid Radio with a radio-first mindset, showcasing seamless content discovery and direct linking into each broadcaster’s own content ecosystem opening up for a full integration of live radio, on-demand, and podcast elements
“This isn’t about being present in the dashboard – it’s about being prominent, and being in control,” said Yann Legarson, CEO of Radioplayer. “That’s what this platform is designed to enable & we’re grateful to every broadcaster who joined us”
While interest and enthusiasm are always welcome, what stood out most at NAB was this: Broadcasters signed up. Many stations and groups – took the step to formally partner with Radioplayer and begin delivering their metadata through the platform. That’s more than curiosity. It’s a clear commitment to a shared, broadcaster-led strategy for the connected car. And it’s a strong signal that what Radioplayer is building resonates with real, operational needs in the U.S. market.
The feedback from our demos at the show was consistent:
The next step is clear: full access to the broadcasters content universe - without gatekeepers.
As we packed up after four fantastic days in Vegas, one thing was clear — this wasn’t a gamble. We’re here to build. And we’ll update you on the progress very soon.
