Radioplayer expanding metadata coverage to all EEA countries

Work is underway at Radioplayer to add official broadcast metadata from every single EEA country to the WRAPI by the end of March 2021 for use by our automotive partners.

Radioplayer metadata already represents over 70% of all EU radio listeners but this will ensure the scale and quality of the WRAPI continues to improve and will allow car manufacturers and Tier 1 partners to build a truly European-wide hybrid radio experience using our free metadata, technology and UI designs. As with all Radioplayer metadata it will only be provided with the support of the broadcasters.
