Radioplayer Germany launches Wrong-Way-Driver feature

In 2017 alone, a total of around 2,200 wrong-way drivers were recorded on German motorways. To help address this problem and provide early warning to drivers, Radioplayer teamed up with leading automotive technology supplier Bosch earlier this year to launch the Wrong-Way-Driver feature on the Radioplayer Germany app. Once agreeing to use of their location data, users will receive a warning if they take a motorway entrance or exit in the wrong direction. A warning is also sent to all vehicles in the danger area that are also using the feature on the Radioplayer app. We know that lives have already been saved and other Radioplayer markets will be considering the feature for integration in 2020.
