Munich, 19th March 2024 - Radioplayer, the global leader in connected radio innovation, and NIO, the smart electric vehicle manufacturer, announces a ground-breaking partnership to revolutionize the in-car listening experience.

This agreement signifies another collaborative effort between an innovative car manufacturer and Radioplayer, aimed at enhancing the radio experience for listeners through hybrid radio technology that integrates broadcast and internet radio, relieving listeners from the need to navigate between different technologies, ensuring a seamless transition between broadcast and online radio content.

NIO's new cars in European markets will integrate Radioplayer's radio data and technology, featuring official broadcast metadata and artist images, to create a richer and more engaging radio experience that is constantly updated. Features include:

·   Enhanced official metadata providing detailed program and artist information

·   Beautiful artist artwork displayed on the media card, mini-player, and full player page on the center display, the instrument cluster and rear control panel where fitted.
